Vocal mixing help

    Evening!

    So im mixing a track but the vocals seem to be very "bright" and also "dry" i would say. The room we were in was a bit sh1t!

    Are there any techniques that would soften it up a bit or add some colour? Not really sure what im asking f you havent noticed already! :D

    bright = EQ
    colour = Enhancer (like PSP mix saturation, or google it and probably find some free alternative)
    dry = reverb.

    or ... record again with a bunch of duvets around (though you will probably still need the above, the vox will sound better)
