Which do you use/find the best on macbook Google chrome or Safari?
If Safari, how can I have multiple tabs open like on chrome?

Neither are great. I recommend Opera. It's very fast and doesn't crash as much as Chrome & Safari.

    Safari.

Firefox is great for extensions but slower.

Chrome is faster than Firefox but a bit slower than Safari and had a lot of extensions too.

So diff ones for diff times.

There's already a sticky about web browsers above. This question in various forms comes up so often.

Anyway, at the moment - Chrome. Then Safari, but as usual it is badly in need of an update, which may be coming on Monday. Then Camino, but it also goes through periods of seeming abandonment.

Firefox is a bloated piece of crap. And I hate Opera.

Opera is good for Unite alone - but as browser, no chance.

Firefox is as bloated as you make it - its as slow as it is, but thats different.

I made the change from Firefox and Safari to Chrome recently and I'm very happy with it. The speed difference is huge.

I usually have a few dozen tabs open and Chrome is the only one that seems to handle that smoothly.
