I have a 02 Avensis the horn has stopped working again. Had it fixed about a year ago at Toyota dealer which has now closed down, it cost about €80 to fix last time.

Why would this fail after such a short time?
Is this part under some kind of warranty will Toyota?

Doubtful as the car is 8 years old.

I would imaging the mechanic didn't replace parts at that price but may of cleaned the connections. I'd check for loose wires

Probably only required a hit of a mallet the last time. Try that again, it is a regular fix for car horns
