JT26: Here are a number of r Polish language learning links to help you improve your Polish language skills.

    www.digitaldialects.com/Polish.htm
    www.anglik.net/polish.htm

    http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Polish

Dunjohn: One of my teachers pointed me to this site:
http://www.oneness.vu.lt/en/ It's quite fun. You can pick up a little Lithuanian while you're at it.

Wheelsonthebus: I know the translation is pretty poor, especially translating long sentences but I find the google translate function pretty good if you're stuck for a word or if you get something like a text message and you haven't a clue what it means- this will help you get the gist of it
    http://translate.google.ie

Jarren: This online word translator is pretty good
    http://www.dict.pl/dict_iso

Wigglesworth: This website has all sorts of video demos of the major Polish language learning applications that are out there:
    learn to speak Polish

con1982: An amazing site for Polish grammar reference, online dictionary, songs and short stories. Also has access to many recent articles from Gazeta Wyborcza (Polands largest national newspaper)

For anyone planning to take the B1,B2 or C1 exam; see the links below

number10a: I'm learning Polish on the LiveMocha website. It's a bit like Rosetta Stone I'd say. It doesn't work on its own for me (I'd need a book too), but for something that costs nothing, it's really good!!
    http://www.livemocha.com/

axellgaarth: If you need something more specific, post a question here: http://polish.x10.mx . You will get a reply from a native speaker of Polish in no time :) And if you have no questions, there are some nice, short lessons there as well.

Szarik102: One of the better on-line Polish dictionaries:

NoHornJan: Is it possible to get an inverted question mark on an Irish bought laptop?
allandanyways: NoHornJan, if you have MSWord or Open Office, it's in the "Insert>Special characters/symbols" part. You can reset the shortcut from there (mine is AltGr+?).
Eph1958:Hold down Alt and type 0191 (numbers typed on the numeric keypad) is the easiest way I know. ¿No problema?

Create by the good people from Rosetta Stone, this is an excellent medium to chat with native spanish speakers from around the world and find language exchange partners.
Check it out you won't be disappointed !

    UpTheSlashers: http://www.seriespepito.com/
Loads of tv series in english with spanish subtitles or in spanish with english subtitles.
I found this link in a post on this forum but i just cant remember. If i come across it again i will edit this post to give credit where it is due :)

    o1aa: http://busuu.com
Great site for learning languages through flash-cards, dialogues etc. You need to sign up for it.

    Wudyaquit:
After having wasted a lot of time on different Spanish apps and courses just thought I'd point to the ones that proved useful for me:

Michel Thomas - this is an audio course that is really brilliant - I've given it to a few people and everyone who's used it has found it really helpful. The whole course as far as the end of the advanced course only takes about 30 hours (although you'll prob have to repeat some things), and that gives you enough to be able to conjugate any verb and quite a bit of vocab.

I've used Rosetta Stone previously which is now pretty much defunct imo given that there are apps that do the same thing more usefully for less than a tenth of the price.
I also had a loan of the tapes for berlitz and they were laughably bad.

    Apps I found useful:
Babbel - Only vocab but they have you repeat words at the right intervals so that it goes in.
Busuu as mentioned above is really good - the lessons aren't all that great but the writing gets reviewed by native speakers which is really useful (you can use it for free but most of the lessons you need to pay 15 euro in total (or 5 euro for each lesson)).

There are heaps of apps out there - Maria's Spanish Class is one a lot of people use, but I found it pretty slow; Hola conversational spanish (89c) - lots of phrases, but some of the translations aren't correct and a lot of repetition giving the same phrase 3 or 4 times for female and groups etc.

Podcasts - Notes in Spanish Inspired Beginners. These are really excellent - lots of useful language presented very simply. You would be better off knowing some verbs at least before starting the podcasts, I think, because they don't explain why a verb is conjugated a certain way.

Websites - http://howlearnspanish.com/2012/09/spanish-videos-subtitles-free/ link to a guy's blog where he lists all the best sites to watch TV and radio in spanish (sometimes with trannscripts). He seems to be advertising Synergy Spanish, which hasn't got good reviews elsewhere, so I'd take his gushing reviews with a pinch of salt but using his links is a very quick way to find tv you're interested in in spanish

iTalki.com - this is a site I haven't used but where you can apparently meet native spanish speakers and practice speaking with them (they'll be speaking back to you in English). Like an online intercambio using Skype. Great idea for practicing your speech.

torqueturn: I have developed a web-based tool to help language students expand their vocabulary and importantly, learn noun genders. It is cheap, accessible and easy to use and caters for Spanish, German, and French

    Check us out on www.leVocab.com

    foobally: http://www.conversationexchange.com
Meet people learning English or another language who want to practice your language. Great way to meet and practice with native speakers. Free by the way.

HeathenHeathen: https://www.duolingo.com/ - I have been using this for the past few days and find it good for keeping immersed when away from the computer as its a site and a mobile app... give it a shot :-)

http://livemocha.com also using this and really enjoying it, i also have Rosetta Stone, and tip away at that when i have spare time.

    Adios amigos :)
