opel vivaro timing belt

    hi, all newbie here just wondering would anyone know how much,it would cost to get an opel vivaro (timing belt broke) fixed or would it be cheaper to get an other engine would be grateful for any feedback :confused:.

    I wouldn't speculate on the cost as it would depend on the damage done. That's a Renault engine in them too....

    I'd be thinking its forget about it time unless its 06 or newer,
    I would not bother with anything other than a s/h engine as you dont know when your done repairing the broken belt damage

    thanks, its 04 ,yeah renault engine ,if i had known that i would never have bought it, heard somewhere its actually the laguna engine ,any idea what she"d be worth as is ,if worth anything .:mad:
