What neck size do you take in shirts? I think L should be ok.

You'll be an xl at least I'd say, Abercrombie are small fitting compared to most american sizing and the t-shirts/tops etc are shorter in the body and longer in the sleeves than other brands for a given size. I'd be a medium here and am a large to extra large in abercrombie clothes. (Depending on the style, the shirts fit a little bigger than the tops and tees)

I'd definitely just buy one item if buying online and checking the fit, or trying on a friends clothes first.
