Lads, where the **** did this come from? Honestly, I have never ever seen a prop struggle to lift his player up in the line out.

Lineout catcher and operator(organiser & callmaker): Andries Bekker

Bekker has been the best lock forward in the Super 14 this year and the best lineout jumper. Purely on the this current season, he is the best in the world right now.

There's a lot more to it than just lifting, there's dummy jumpers and guys moving up and down the line. When a team misses a throw against the head, 10 times out of 10 it's either blamed on the thrower or the catcher but it's not always as cut and dry as this. The lineout is so technical nowadays and the lifter can be the difference in having a well functioning lineout.

    Influence as Captain: McCaw

The Dark Arts of Scrummaging: Hayman

Most effective lifting in the lineout: Maybe the Saffers props. Probably is actually Hayes. He's good for something.

Most Accurate Lineout thrower: Fla or whoever the Saffers use.

Lineout catcher and operator(organiser & callmaker): V Matfeld

The best groundhog: H Brussouw. Or McCaw. Or Pollock.

    Tackling: Dusatoir

Hardest hitting tackler: Ferris. :D A Polynesian really though.

    Soft Hands: Malcolm O'Kelly. :D

Best ball carrier off the back of the scrum: Parisse.

    Boxkicker: F Du Preez

    Goalkicker: D Carter

    Up and under: Kearney

Punt and field positioning: D Carter

    Passer: D Carter

    Hand off: Not sure really.

    Offload: S Parisse

    Eye for a gap: BO'D

Intercept: James Hook. ;) I'd have thought De Villiers might be in here, or O'Driscoll.

    Pace: N'Gwenya

Fielder: (catch under the highball): Kearney

    Influence as Captain: John Smit

Most Accurate Lineout thrower: Bismarck Du Plessis

Lineout catcher and operator(organiser & callmaker): Victor Matfeld

    The best groundhog: Davey Pocock

    Tackling: Pocock again

Best ball carrier off the back of the scrum: Heaslip (Spies only carries off the base well when the scrum isnt under pressure)

    Boxkicker: Fourie Du Preez

    Goalkicker: Morne Steyn

    Up and under: Lee Byrne

Passer: Stringer (still one of the best in the world)

    Offload: Stephen Ferris

Eye for a gap: Keith Earls

    Pace: Zee N'Gwenya

Fielder: (catch under the highball): Kearney

    Some of my own attributes:

Spacial awareness in defense: BOD (honestly one of his best attributes, he knows that if he shoots and misses his man the gap behind him will be covered. Rarely makes mistakes in that aspect of his game.)

Intelligence (rugby brain): Parisee/Harinorduquy/Heaslip. (imo the position that requires the most intelligence in general is no. 8 and you cant get much better than these guys.)

    Cheekiest, most annoying/mischievous: Alan Quinlan

Coolest name: If this was an all time list it would be Izak Petrus van der Westhuizen but as for modern times it has to be Bismarck Du Plessis

My personal heroes: Os Du Randt, Francois Pienaar, Keith Wood, Joel Stransky

Greatest moment in rugby history: Mandela unifying South Africa for that one day in 1995 when the Boks outlasted the All Blacks. Pity that legacy was not a lasting one. :(
