I recently purchased the above telephone amplifier but cannot get it to work. I have tried it out on four different telephones including a Binatone Spirit and Caprice. When connected there appears to be a dialing tone but when I try to dial a number this tone remains and therefore will not dial out.

Has anyone else got this problem?.
