    Hi lads,

Looking for advice on a 98 mazda 626 2ltr petrol,
Its leaking brake fluid from the back driver side caliper( think thats the name). It seems to be coming from where the handbrake cable is attached. There is a bolt with a spring wrapped around it,that looks like where the problem is!!!

Any body know if there is a seal in there that could be gone??
Is there a way of replacing the seal or is it a case of replaceing the hole cailper???

    THANKS

Not familiar with the car in question but it is quite hard to get seals for calipers and brake cylinders these days.

Best bet would be to find a 2nd hand one. Just check that the handbrake lever is free to move on the caliper and that it moves the piston before you buy it.

These rear calipers are notorious for siezing I'd bet you wont have a chance
of getting a s/h replacement unfortunately
Will have to price a new one think delphi do one

edit: Reasonably easy job to do. Check youtube out for similar tutorials. You'll love the new brake effect afterwards.
