This is to contrast the topic about the writer's murder:

I think this is still super cool! Apparently it was composed by James Lipton (of Inside the Actors Studio fame).

Hopefully the writer in question wasn't the one behind creating Snarf (in which case he probably deserved to die).

Snarf is the only thing people remember about that show, Snarf and......

"Ancient Spirits of evil, transform this decayed thing to Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living!".

    Thundercats Ho!

It was a god-awful show tbh. Other than the great intro and theme music I don't know why anyone looks back on this show fondly. To anyone who disagrees I suggest sitting down and watching about 5 eps back to back just to see what a steaming pile of crap it is.

I know it was from the pre-dvd pre-cable days where originality or variety didn't really matter that much, but I'm not selling it short when I say every single episode had exactly the same plot, pacing and resolution. To sit thru the series as an adult (and to my shame I actually did it during one of my more insane periods) was merely to watch the same episode over and over again 130times.

It was alright, the animated equivalent of a Steven Segal movie.

Dont go there looking for character development but for some Lion-O karate chop action it's OK.
