Does this bike rack look very high?

    Folks,

Will someone tell me if I have this bike rack on correctly? I've done exactly what it said on the tin putting it on... What's the feedback? IS it in the correct place or am I going to take out some local aircraft?

It looks high enough p compared to the one I have but that could be down to the design of it.
What brand is it? Perhaps a Google of the make/model will give confidence or a pointer that you have it on incorrectly.
Also posting in the cycling forum might get more responses.

Fair plan Mr M. I picked it up in halfords last year . Every time i put it on I say WTF that is not right but still it works perfectly.... I've tried ever variation but this is the only secure option. I'm going to go for it and stop over analyzing it...

    Nice car.

I've seen ones like that before, I think they are designed to keep your lights and license plate visible (mostly the lights).

have you put a bike on it yet? Does it feel secure?

Stick the make and model into google images and see what it turns up. I've only ever used the hatchback ones (awful thing from aldi) which obviously sit over the rear windscreen.

    Thanks DirkVoodoo

Ya it's perfectly secure when on, I just thought it looked a bit high. It's actually not a bad design as it lets you see out the back window perfectly...
