Planning of heading to Italy with my gf in August for 2 weeks. Plan is to fly into Naples, get the train to Sorrento and stay for about four nights. Would visit Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii while there. From here we could drive to amalfi coast. Is there much to do or see there? After this would love to head to sicily for the second week and fly back from there. Or is this too far away to travel? Any do's or dont's with this possible trip? I hear sorrento is very expensive? but we'd love to go and visit pompeii and vesuvius!! is it worth it? Any help greatly appreciated
