I hope someone can clear this up for us! :)
I think that my honeybun should wear her engagement ring on her right hand but after we marry she would wear the engagement ring and the wedding ring on her left hand.
For me ,its one ring and I'm wearing it on the right hand before marriage and will swap over to the left after marriage.

Is this how its normally done?

ASAIK engagement ring should be on left hand, that's where mine is and any friends of mine that are engaged. You wear both on same finger then after you get married. HTH

I think it's left hand for the engagement and both rings left hand after the wedding...my fingers are different sizes and I wouldn't fancy paying to get a ring resized just so it can swap hands after the big day! :)

It depends on your culture/where you are from etc. Many Euorpeans and also Muslims wear their wedding rings on the right hand. Some cultures wear a single ring on the right during engagement then move it after marriage to the left. My husband wears his ring on his right hand usually.

There are no hard and fast rules - now that there is so much cultural diversity, a band on the left hand no longer automatically has the same implications.

Whichever you prefer really - although I think your fiance should be free to wear her ring as she wishes - its her ring afterall!
