Ok so I'm a hairy guy and proud of it but always feels nice to have a smooth back for the hotter weather. Anyone know anything I can do in advance to ease the pain?

Have someone shave it for ya and avoid the wax altogether. Less painful and infinitely more entertaining.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Take something like Neurophen or Anadin about 20 mins before your appointment, close your eyes and think happy thoughts during your appointment!!! :D

Oh I've had it down before and it hurts more than the chest! Shaving sucks cos it doesnt last long.

As for appointment ... Mrs.6th will be doing it!

Book an appointment with a salon who uses Lycon wax. It makes it almost painless. Otherwise, use a numbing cream or spray on the area beforehand.

Have you tried using sugar wax? You can make it yourself at home, it hurts a hell of a lot less than regular wax, and it'll only cost you about €1 to make and a friend to help. Try googling sugar wax or Hawala waxing

    Had my back waxed yesterday.
    It wasn't sore.
Have it done four times a year.
    Just go for it.

Oh I'll have a look in town today for numbing creams, going to do this tonight.

My back is so smooth. Pores have closed again. Feels great.
Pain from waxing isn't that bad. It's all in the mind. You're a big boy now so no excuses.
