Came across this shop today in Drogheda, on Stockwell lane. It seems to be the place where Xtravision are selling all their extra or old stock of DVDs and games from Louth, Dub and Meath.

Most of the stuff is ex-rental, and comes in those square boxes with just the title printed on the front.

Dvds, PS2 & PSP and Xbox games are just 1 euro each.

The selection seems pretty good. Got Munich, Tigerland, History of Violence and Death Race (blu-ray) for 4euro, and a heap of other stuff.

Theres other PS3, 360 and proper boxed DVDs on sale too but they cost a bit more.

I've never heard of somewhere like this so thought if anyones around Drogheda they might wanna pop in.

Thanks for the up on this and will check in the morning. Just about sums up Drogheda at the moment. Nearly 2 and a half hours for the first glimmer of a response.

As promised I went to look and there are hundreds of games at 99c. Most are unboxed but have booklets and are abviously ex hire etc. They seem to be suggesting that anything below 2.99 cannot be exchanged which is nonsense as they must be playable as games or they cannot be sold as such. There are plenty of dvds as well and this is likely to cause some problems for the retailers that are excepting games as px.

So there are games for all platforms are some real bargains but do check the disk condition.

    Thanks OP.

I was talking to the girl behind the counter. Apparently they get deliveries on tuesdays and thursdays.

These would be the best times to head down.

Just went down there today (it's called €xtra deal; not XtraDeal)

It was pretty good, they had PS3 games + 360 games (alot more 360 games than PS3 games though) and a ****load of PS2 games.

Not huge bargains, but a pretty good shop. Picked up The Saboteur today for the PS3 for €20, it was as new, didn't have one scratch at all :)

It's also 'buy one, get second half price' on most of the games just to let you guys know.
