So my sister is getting married today, and the best man wants to say a little sentance in Irish, problem is my irish is a little rusty, was wondering if anyone could help me translate this sentence

"Thank you for such a wonderful irish welcome, I am sorry I brought so many English hooligans with me"

Now I know bits and bobs here and there but my grammer is a little off, so any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh as an bhfáilte mór gcroí. Tá brón orm gur thógas an méid sin blagaird Shasanach liom.

Maybe someone will have something better. 'fáilte mór gcroí' isn't grammatically correct but it's whats said.

While I'd personally use a slightly different dialect, that seems perfectly fine to me.

Moved from Teach na nGealt to appropriate forum (previous one is a banter forum as Gaeilge. It's not for translation help).
