    You can be damn sure any country that is introducing a "smart card" photo ID is doing the same.

    There's no need for a smart card to do this.

    Governements have had access to passport/ drivers licence photos for donkeys years.

    The only thing preventing it is computer processing power/lack of funds.

    I don't see any connection here with smart cards.

    Nice they got it up to about 90% accurate.that might make about 10% of the population terrorists lol.
