I rang Nissan last week about getting a spare keyfob as I only had the one.
I got quoted €220 plus I had to leave the car with them for 2 hours.
After coming around from the shock paddles I set about doing my research & found you could buy one for a tenner on ebay.
    http://cgi.ebay.ie/NISSAN-2-BUTTON-REMOTE-CONTROL-ALARM-KEY-FOB-TESTED-/150415966499?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Car_Parts_Vehicles_Automobila_ET&hash=item23057d8123
The reprogramming procedure is already up on Boards in another thread.

My question concerns the key blade & not the electronic Keyfob itself.
Are these blanks easily got or am I better buying one off ebay aswell ?.
Is there anywhere these Keyfobs can be bought new direct without going through ebay ?.

    Thanks for any help.

Rang Autokey, €180 plus VAT, Ouch.
I'm going to risk the ebay option, I'll only be down £15 at worst.
