I personally love her.... Saw her recently in the Academy and she was brill.....
Played lots of new stuff and all the old stuff....
New album is fantastic too

My dog died recently, it was quite sad. Everybody cried because he was a loyal and faithful pet. He used to do this little thing where he'd get up on his hind legs and pretend to dance.

But I would rather defile the little grave we recently dug for him, disembowel him and eat the contents than listen to that screeching mockney accent one more time.

her first album was grand - nothing astounding, just unintelligant music that is easily to listen to. her new stuff is pure CRAP!

I got the album out of boredom, don't own the first and wasn't the biggest fan but not the biggest hater. It's a decent 2nd album, far better than the first.
I like how she keeps a balance of old skool girl group pop with a bit more edge on other tracks, influenced by her love of the Slits, Riot Grrl movement etc and no doubt her relationship with Ryan Jarman.
It's funny to see him dancing about in his get up in her new video.

Well I have been fan from first time I heard Foundations played on an Indie radio station in South America !!! Was so looking forward to seeing her live in Academy and in retrospect was not disappointed. I thought at first it was a bit amateur the performance, but what the hell, that kind of sums up her quirkyness and you seriously would not expect a polished performance from her - it was raw and mixed old and new pretty well. So looking forward to seeing her back there Oct 10th. Oh and one last thing - she is still only charging €22.65 per ticket - so not jumped onto the ripoff bandwagon.
