Irish Placepots- Careful Now Ted!!

    Spotted a discretely placed notice in Boyles yesterday. 4th place in non-handicaps of 16plus runners no longer applies for Placepots. It said it was a directive from Tote Ireland so I presume it applies to all bookies. Pity as I always found that an easy way to make a few bob on Irish racing even tho it was always hassle getting paid as it didnt show up on their system.

    saw same note (better displayed mind you) in bruce and hacketts, so must be across the board.

    dont know bout the placepot but in non handicaps you never got paid on 4th place only handicaps with 16+ runner

    You used to get it on the placepot regardless of handicaps...only the irish tote though
