    #hi

I just picked up my new Leveno Netbook and I bought Norton Anti Virus as it was half price for €25. but I have noticed that it Seems to have McAfee Anti Virus,

Should i ignore McAfee and install Norton or should I return it. Which one is the best?

    thanks

Uninstall McAfee as it will be a '3 month free trial then you pay full whack' affair.

Next- take Norton back to the shop from where you bought it. It is a beast that will consume every last resource that you laptop has.

Then- install the free Microsoft antivirus software http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

    Jobs done.

Personally I always use AVG free version and I've never had any major issues in years!

Coupled with Zone-alarm firewall it's worked perfect for me - every month or so I'd run Ad-aware / Spybot / SUPERantispyware (all free) just to keep a tight ship ;)

I've done the above on XP, Vista and Windows 7 - no problems yet my friend
