    Hi,

Looking for a NAD package recommendation - CD, AMP and set of floor standing speakers.

Monitor Audio RS6 were speakers I looked at in the past.

    Looking for big sound!

Open to advice and also would like to hear from NAD owners - what do you have ?

    Thanks!

    Hey Mike.GTI.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Have a look over the following:

NAD C326BEE priced at £249.95 (Graphite Finish)
    https://www.richersounds.ie/asp/product.asp?ObjectID=930&Mode=0&productid=1034&Results=true&keys=nad

Or NAD C355BEE priced at £299.95 (Titanium Finish)
    https://www.richersounds.ie/asp/product.asp?ObjectID=930&Mode=0&productid=1012&Results=true&keys=nad

    NAD C525 priced at £199.95
    https://www.richersounds.ie/asp/product.asp?ObjectID=930&Mode=0&productid=22&Results=true&keys=nad

Or NAD C545BEE priced at £279.95
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/cd-players-recorders-dacs/nad/c545bee/nad-c545-graph

The Monitor Audio RS6 have now finished and been replaced by the RX6 which are priced at £699.95
    https://www.richersounds.ie/asp/product.asp?ObjectID=930&Mode=0&productid=960&Results=true&keys=rx6%20

If an AMP and CD Player are purchased I could offer the RX6's for £619.95 and offer free shipping on the lot. I will also include a few meters of very nice speaker cable. :D

I have the RS6's and they are an amazing pair of speakers, so I'd imagine the RX's are even better. They're look superb too (like all Monitor Audio gear).

The NAD C355BEE is stonkingly good value at £299.95 (it was already good value at £450). There isn't an amp on the market today that comes close to it for value for money. I had the older C352 and it was superb amp.

I'd even consider pairing the RX6's with a more expensive amp (if funds permit), like a Cambridge Audio AZUR 740A, or even an 840A??

    Best of luck!

    Thanks Kenny and Ollie.

Kenny, can you supply all in graphite (looking at upper device in both options)?

What prices can you do Ollies suggestions from Cambridge?

Just to put into context I'm looking for a set up to cover everything from acoustic sounds (good example is Wish you were here by Pink Floyd through to heavy/punchy rock sound).

If I spun up to Belfast could I hear before I buy?

Just one other thought to my last note, while I planned on keeping this package purely as an audio set up is there a set up that could overlap and connect to my LCD/bluray set up? The audio currently in place us a Sony dav880 which in it's day was very good but I'm over due an upgrade!
My head says keep them all separate but always open to advice.

    Hey Mike.GTI.

At the moment I only have the C355BEE in the Titanium finish. We have cheked and this is the only colour available at the moment from NAD. NAD have no date on when the Graphite will be returning to them.

We currently have stock of the NAD C545BEE in Graphite.

The Cambridge 740A is in very short supply at the moment with no incoming date as of yet. Cambridge 740 Priced at £499.95 / 589.99 Euro

The matching CD player 740C is also the same when it comes to stock levels. Also priced at £499.95 / 589.99 Euro

In my opinion I would keep my Hifi and my homecinema seperate if possible! Its hard to get a Homecinema Amp that can match up to an amp designed for stereo!

Ok, Cambridge would push it out of what I'd like to spend.

Cinema separate to hifi makes sense.

I do want the graphite so I'm willing to wait. Please keep me posted.

In the meantime is there any suggestions re hearing this combination in action?

    Hey Mike.GTI.

As we have all the NAD bits in stock in different colours we can connect these bits along with a pair of RX6 as we have all these on display in our Belfast store.

I'll keep my Ear to the ground on the 355BEE in graphite front.

If you are thinking on dropping up to the Belfast store let me know and I can get the system setup and get the coffee on :D

    Really appreciate that Kenny.

I expect to be heading up before end of June. How much notice would I need to give you?
