Que loads of micra's with pink fuzzy steering wheel covers, pink fuzzy gear gaiters etc. sporting these alloys pretty soon.

Tsk ..you're right ...some further research turns up that they were first around in the mid 80's and apparently sold quite well for a year or two (I can't remember ever seeing one though)
They have been given a lick of paint and been re-launched at the Essen motorshow last autumn

together with this ole wheel ...which is much nicer

Shoot me if you want, but I could kind of see them working on an R5 GT turbo! On which subject, the second ones look a lot like the wheels on a Renault Alpine.
