When i start my car there is a ridiculas amount of white smoke coming from the exhaust so much that i could not see anything behind me until it clears
Can anyone tell me why this is so?
My coolant level drops about every 2 days i thought there was a leek but someone said it could be mixing with somerthing to come out the tail pipe?
Is it bad to keep drivign on this because i have no other mode of transport
    Thanks a lot

What car is it? Sounds like your head gasket is blown. Get it to a garage and don't let it overheat on the way. If you keep driving a blown head gasket the engine will destroy itself.

(Is it me or are there lots of coolant problems on Motors lately?)

A compression test won't cost much and will tell if it's blown.

Tis either a head gasket, or they've chosen a new pope. I'm gonna go with option 1.

How long ago? Was the engine rebuilt? I wouldn't be too happy if the HG went on an engine that i'd only recently had fitted.

    Just before christmas
Would it be the new engines fault or the person that put the engine into my car?
