Is it intended for the third world primarily?

(I'm not trying to be funny -- the wind-up radio was quite a success and people are even more reliant on mobile phones in the third world than in more developed countries, since a lot of the third world never built up a good landline infrastructure.)

Edit: the article seems to suggest that it is targeted at the third world.

You could probably run it off a spoke-magnet induction-coil dynamo setup for no tyre drag (still get electromagnetic drag from the dynamo though).
