Preferably a big strong one with a stand as I'm longer and larger than the average bear..... :D

seriously I would like a big strong one for lazing in out the back, if it came with its own stand that would be all good too but I'm not afraid of a little diy

Don't think we have a hammock district in Cork :p

But the place I found mine was the euro shop place at the top of Olly Plunket. That was a few weeks ago though

What sort of price are there do you know, I quite fancy a free standing one for doing some sunshine reading over the summer in the garden.

    ok if you won't i will....:D

Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.
Hank: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that?
Hammocks! Homer, there's four places. There's the Hammock Hut,
    that's on third.
    Homer: Uh-huh.
Hank: There's Hammocks-R-Us, that's on third too. You got
    Put-Your-Butt-There?
    Homer: Mm-Hmm.
Hank: That's on third. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot... Matter of fact,
they're all in the same complex; it's the hammock complex on
    third.
    Homer: Oh, the hammock district.
    Hank: That's right.

i dont think they have the ones with stands in the army store - if you can find a something to hang them off they were around 12 euro. I haven't been in there in a while, great spot for a rummage around though
