DVD Box sets 9.99 for 2

    Just been into GameStop in Pavillions, picked up Lewis (14 Disc, all 3 seasons) box set and Battlestar Galactica, The Final Season

    They were 9.99 each but offer is now BOGOF on ALL box sets.

    The mother in law likes Lewis, and this box set is in immacualte nick, so thats her Birthday prezzie sorted.

    IMO can't go wrong, had a load at 9.99 for 2 sets.

    They had load of CSI's, X-Files etc

    I presume they're second hand?

    Anyone know if this applies to all Gamestops, or just the one in Swords?

    Yeah, they're second hand, but the great thing is, all the box sets actually contain the discs, so you can open them and have a look & check for scratches.

    The 2 sets i got, Lewis & BSG Season 4 were in immacualte condition, you honestly couldn't tell that they hadn't jsut been bought new in HMV

    In pavillions they had all seasons of The 4400, looked in awesome condition, at 9.99 for 2 again. I didn't pick them up as i've been.....instructed (:rolleyes:) not to buy any more 'junk' :rolleyes:

    Had a look in Henry St and Liffey St this morning.

    The first thing is that the deal seems to be in every store.

    But there was nothing good there, to be honest. Dozens of CSI Boxsets, and a few Sci-fi, neither of which I'm into.

    Perhaps it would be better in other stores.

    Same in Galway. Got all 4 seasons of Futurama for 20 quid a few weeks ago!
