Hey Im going to be flying Cork to Dublin, then Dublin to Berlin this summer, arriving in Dublin at 8.20 and leaving for Berlin at 9.20. Ill only have hand luggage, and boarding passes printed and the lot. Does anyone reckon i wont have enough time to get to departures? I havent been to Dublin airport in years so dont know myself.

I dont mind running btw. ;) cheers

Should be doable, but nothing is guaranteed - don't exit the arrivals area. Go towards baggage belt 1, and upstairs to the transit point. Security should be quieter there than in the main terminal.

I would say it is entirely doable. I never arrive at the airport more than 45 minutes before the flight and always end up with plenty of time to waste. Even in the peak morning rush, security is very efficient these days and queues move quickly (a huge improvement over say 2006 when security took ages). Of course, if your flight is delayed, you are screwed...

As BuffyBot said, there is a direct transit connection between arrivals and departures. Make sure to use that so you do not have to queue at security again.

according to this you should be okay, you're fast-tracked through screening

    http://www.dublinairport.com/at-airport/latest-news/transfer_facility.html

    Pier A Transfer Facility Closed

Passengers should note that the flight transfer facility from pier A is now closed to facilitate the construction work currently on going in the Area 14 project.

From now on passengers wishing to transfer should exit through the customs in the baggage hall and make there way to the departures level where they will be expressed checked through screening and back into the airside.

Temporary signage has been installed directing transfer passengers to the express screening area
