Anyway, I always (or try to) do the speech on paper one as I majorly suck at creative writing etc.

So I was wondering what do you get marked on for the speech, like how is it marked? What are marks rewarded for etc. What should one avoid doing and look out for?

    Thanks in advance. :)

PCLM as usual, I assume. You would probably need to continually acknowledge the presence of the audience (e.g. "thank you or your time"... etc)

Does anyone know if, apart from these (rather small) differences, you could write a speech in the same manner as you would a personal essay? (discursive)
