No RTE on internet radio - anyone else??

Since yesterday I haven't been able to get any RTE stations on my Roberts internet radio. I just get an error message saying "Network Timeout" on all RTE stations.

This used to happen the odd time with RTE1 but I was always able to pick up RTE1 Extra instead. But now I can't get any of them at all.

I can listen online allright on the pc, but the point of my internet radio is that I can listen easily anywhere in the house.

Is it just me or is anyone else having the same problem?

(I'm in the UK btw)

Same here on www.rte.ie and internet radio on my PC.

Nothing since yesterday, Other stations seem fine.

I thought it was just me!

I couldn't get it on the pc on Firefox but I can on Internet Explorer.

I'm having my lunch in the spare room here listening to liveline! :rolleyes:

RTE is fine on my Vistron reciva radio. Newstalk is not working very well on the other hand, it takes 10 minutes to connect and constantly stops.

Very odd.

www.rte.ie player also working for me with Internet Explorer (Realplayer selected) but not with Firefox or with other internet radio players.

Not working on my Roberts either, just added it via my internet favourites, but no joy - same error as the OP. Works OK on the computer, though. I'm not a follower of RTE radio so it doesn't matter. DAB seems fine.

I emailed Roberts Radios abouth the problem and they said.....

You are right none of them working at the moment, there is nothing wrong
with your radio. Logon to Frontier website and click at the bottom left on
'Contact us' and fill the form asking them to put RTE right.

PS: I have already done that, you can do the same.

So I did that! But just checked and it's back already!

RTE must not monitor things at their end at all, given that it was down for over 24 hours

It is unbelievable. Still, at least now if it goes again we know what to do.

RTE1 Extra is ok though.

Its been fixed for the past few days. I just needed to re-set it as a favourite on my selection buttons on the radio. Its listed ok in the Stations now.

RTE thanked me for my email and said they were working on it, it just took a few days.
