This thing looks awesome, would it actually be reliable though?
    I might pick one up.

The way you can change your lense is a nice touch
    Introducing the New B-Grip.
An innovative system for carrying your camera on your belt.!

Comfortable, safe and made with carefully selected materials the B-Grip means you can carry your camera without all the straps, bags and general paraphenalia normally involved in taking your camera out.

Giving you freedom of movement, the camera does not swing or bounce against your body, instead remaining always available on your hip ready for fast extraction.

The B-Grip can support weight up to 8kg, so any configuration of camera is possible; flash, zoom, additional batteries etc.

The B-Grip comprises of an attachment for affixing into the camera's tripod bush, much like a tripod top place, which then itself sits into the specifically designed holster.

The B-Grip features a safety release system to prevent accidental release from the holder, and there is also an optional safety cord supplied, as well as an optional waterproof cover should the elements demand it.

B-Grip lets you mount the camera both ways. Use it to provide a third hand when changing lenses. A supplied dust and rain cover provides additional protection if required.

Is it not good practice to always point the camera down when changing a lens?

Yes. I died a little inside when she was changing the lens in the video...

I think it's a waste of money, sorry.

The R Strap from BlackRapid is a better option.
