Your baggage allowance is whatever Virgin gives you:

We're all doing the same thing - this Saturday! YAH!
Baggage allowance is 23kgs per person, and is the max. weight per bag.
Bags are checked-in in Dublin, and picked up in Orlando, as automatically transferred in Gatwick. You should get your boarding cards for Virgin, once you check-in at Dublin.

    Same on the return journey.

    Where are you staying?
We're coming back on the 26th, and are staying at the Homewood Suites, I-Drive.
/ right beside Bahama Breeze, how'd that happen!?

that was my point, booked with expedia in oct 09 (this was a bargain alert then) ie before nov25th 2009 and according to buffy bots link i should have nearly double what mr mac says, do who would you contact to clarify? expedia, aer lingus or virgin!,

If you booked the flight as one booking, and did not book two seperate flights, then your main carrier is Virgin Atlantic, so your baggage allowance is based on their allowances. As you booked prior to 25th November 2009, you are allowed 2 pieces of baggage, up to a max of 23kgs per bag. You are also allowed 1 piece of carry on luggage, of a max. 6kgs.

The return flight is exactly the same.

If you made two seperate bookings, then you have a break in flight transportation, and you are guided by the baggage allowance of each seperate airline. Therefore you need to determine the baggage allowance of your Aer Lingus flight to / from Gatwick.
