yeah posted in another thread that i picked up mullaghanish in cork using a powered indoor uhf aerial, not the one you linked to. I'm on the clare/tipp border north of limerick, so that's a signal from over 100km away when i can't get woodcock or maghera which are 20km away from me

Live about 3 miles away from Jaytee, and bought the Argos Indoor aerial and I couldn't get anything from them:(:( It will be going back today.

do you think that would give better results than this which I use now -> telecam_tce2000-120256.jpg
which gives me a max signal level of 61%, quality of 84%
or are they effectively the same thing packaged differently ?

    It's similar.
Also above a certain level the quality and signal are irrelevant, you can't make it better, at your levels an aerial maybe 1/2 as good would still be perfect.

Below a certain level of reception, there is NO set-top aka rabbit's ears etc going to work.
    Next in order are:
    1. The set-top aerial in attic
    2. An outdoor aerial in attic
    3. An outdoor aerial outdoor
    4. 2 x 18 Element or 1 x 80+ element on big pole
    5. 4 big aerials on big pole!
