Landrover Wheel Compatibility

Hi all, Im wondering if anyone knows if the wheels of a Range Rover sport, or for that matter a Disco 3 (same running gear I believe) will fit on a Discovery 2. I have seen a Thread here asking an almost opposing question ( disco 1 to disco 3 ) and the reply seemed to be that the brakes on the disco 3 were too big for the wheels of the older model. This implies that the reverse as I want to do should work ??

The main problem with fitting D2 and P38 rims to earlier vehicles and vice versa is the PCDs are completely different.

I saw a Disco 2 with Disco 3 wheels on it recently, they were 18's and they didn't suit the design at all.
