I checked in online but the airport doesn't have floor machines so I accidently clicked "generate boarding card".

I did it on my iPhone so now I'm decked cause I have no ticket.

If you go to a check-in desk they should sort you out for free and give you your boarding card (unless I'm missing something).

I have done this before where I clicked out of the website by accident and missed the boarding card page completely and they printed it for me in the airport no problem.

Unlike certain other airlines , if you ask at the check in desk they will do the biz for you no problem

Is there a facility on the website to reprint your boarding card?

No it's for security so there can only be one card per customer in existence.

Well, that does not really work. Once you get the boarding pass, you could print it a thousand times. Or you could save it to a PDF and print that many times... The facility does not exist, yes - but it does not prevent anyone from printing the boarding card multiple times.

    Yes well Im back anyway.

The girl at check in looked at me as though it couldn't be any less of a problem.

She asked me my name and for my passport, checked in my bag and gave me my boarding card.

Yet, I spoke to Reservations at 9am who told me it WAS a problem and to speak to the Airport Manager for Aer Lingus when I get there but I will have to pay for another boarding card. *Sigh

I think sometimes these people on the phone don't know the answer so they tell you what they think is the correct answer.

I had that before with Aer Lingus where someone told me the web helpdesk would put in some information for me if I phoned them and the girl at the web helpdesk was like "No we don't do that and he shouldn't have told you we would" etc etc.
