Brocolli being Attacked in raised bed!

    All,

Some advice needed. I recently planted out in raised bed 10*brocolli which had already been grown from seed - I am not quite sure of variety etc. I covered immediately with garden mesh, however 5 of the plants have been completely 'chewed' down to stalk. Other veg., i.e. lettuce, carrots, parsnips etc. are also growing in same plot and are fine at the moment!

Prior to placing netting on bed my betroot leaves were also eaten - have had no problem since net went on though with these - brocolli went in after this initial attack.

    Any suggestions.

    C.
