    Hi All,

Not sure if this is correct area for this post.
I have a large golden lab. He used to wee on the
clothes line pole and he was killing all the grass.
So I took up pole and now hes weeing on shed

shed now starting to stink. is there anything I can put on shed
to overpower the smell ? Or is there some other solution ?

ps. I don't want to shoot dog :)

    Rgs,
    Sean

Your lucky he pees on the one spot. We have two female dogs and because they squat to do their business there is burn marks all over the garden. I use "dog rocks" which help reduce the burn patches. Might be worth a shot if you want to put the pole back and he pees there rather than the shed.

Vinegar is good for dog wee but if your shed is timber then you are fighting a losing battle re the smell. I suggest as well that you put the pole back up and put gravel or suchlike around the bottom of it.

The wee of an unneutered male is ALOT stronger than that of a neutered one. Not hinting at anything just stating a fact. I've got both entire and neutered dogs and the wee of the entire ones is .

Dogs like to pee in the same place as a territorial marker. Try putting the post somewhere you don't mind him peeing.
