    Alright lads,

Not sure if anyone has posted anything about this yet but there's a site I stumbled across dedicated to showing live World Cup streams (legally of course as its a free to air tournament). I'm in work for a few of the 3 o'clock kickoffs I want to see so its dead handy for me. Its http://www.worldcupp2p.com

Not sure if this is the right forum so mods please move it if needed.

    Cheers,
    Adrian

Sharp as ever, mink. However, there may be people whose jobs include researching streaming world cup games.

Also, are you sure your sig is correct?

lol, supposed to be :) yeah rte is grand, some of the links from those type of sites generally have a better picture than the rte games ive watched in the past + I cant stand Jimmy Magee :) Hope someone finds it handy if rte's streams are blocked :)

You could always setup a slingbox at home.

Port forward port 443 from the router to the slingbox port and use dydns so that you can have a dns entry if you don't have a static ip ad home.

I like to see you stop that with your poxy proxy server

This like all methods is a great way to lose your job also.

Or you could get a usb 3G modem for a month €19.99 online with meteor and another 20 Euro for 7.5GB over 30 days

rte at 450k/8 would be 56KB per sec = 202.5MB per hr so that would give you 37 or so hrs of watching which would be 24 games if you only watched 90 mins per game.

as there are 26 games on between mon-fri during the day then that means you could watch most of them.

    You could also http://www.elgato.com/elgato/int/mainmenu/products/tuner/DTTdeluxe09/product1.en.html

that is an extremely detailed way of doing it :) Think a good few of the links on that site will not be blocked in most workplaces so I'm sure you'll find ones that'll do the job for you. Now back to work!

    9 days and counting! :)
