How to mount a PEQ pressure switch

I am toying with the idea of getting a VFC PEQ-15 replica, or the Battleaxe one if I am feeling cheap. This is the one with a laser and flashlight (I saw a red laser used very effectively to designate targets for other team members in Hellfire a while back).

I am wondering how you would mount the pressure switch though.

If I get the unit it will go on a SCAR, so there are 20mm rails to spare. Any suggestions?

all depends it comes with a velcro strip you can use, you can mount it on rail covers or vertical grip all depends on your set up and aeg your using, i actually like to fit it between the top and side rail at a 45% angle but you could not do this with the scar

You can get a vertical foregrip from Ehobby with a slot in them to carry the pressure pad
They have several different models in stock

I was worried it would need a foregrip all right. I am not mad about them. I did see a "Guicci" approach which Gerrodat recommended in an older thread. But that depends on the right type of hand guard.

Out of curiosity, do people find the unit functional at all, or just decorative. Is there decent power from the laser and light?

I'd go for the tango down side rails that will hold the switch if you don't want to go with the foregrip mount.

That looks like what I am looking for. And now I know to search for "switch pocket" I see there is a longer King Arms one as well:

    Thanks for the pointers.

    I use one of these : http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magpul-ris-swift-pressure-panel-bk.html

Cheap as chips, bit of a pain to get on but works perfect with my VFC PEQ.

Never even heard of the illum kit :-)

Woops. I was following an older link you gave to a page that don't exist any more. I had to guess what you were looking at :-)
