    There are currently two senior positions available, with all aspects of the application process being handled by recruitment consultants 2into3. Both successful applicants will have more than ten years of previous managment experience.

    Programme Director


    The Programme Director will report to the CEO and is a key appointment towards establishing a senior management team. This development is aimed at enabling the organisation to significantly scale the impact and influence of its educational mission.

    The role’s purpose is to take general management responsibility for the day to day operations of the organisation’s educational programmes and their continuous strategic development.

    Candidates will have a broad range of management experience covering strategy, marketing, project and programme management, managing client relationships, programme/ product/ process development and building teams. Ideally they will have worked in a development or education based organisation but most importantly will have thrived in entrepreneurially orientated and innovative teams which have developed to become High Performing Organisations. The chosen person will be comfortable managing relationships to the most senior levels with Partners, Government and Funding stakeholders.

    Head of Development

    The Head of Development will be responsible for creating long term financial sustainability for Suas enabling delivery and expansion of its ambitious educational mission. Reporting to the CEO, this senior manager will develop and implement a 3 year fundraising and communications strategy.

    They will lead the fundraising and communications team, including volunteers, to deliver a doubling of income over the next 3 years. The fundraising base will broaden and there will be deepened engagement with donors from the general public, government and institutions, wealthy individuals and corporations. Suas will be positioned and widely recognised in Ireland as the leading education NGO.

    Candidates will have track records of success in fundraising, marketing or business development. They will be highly creative strategic thinkers with the ability to deliver impactful and engaging communications. The chosen person will be target orientated and have demonstrable ability to deliver on income growth objectives.
