    That is looking for a bassist in the Meath/Dublin/Louth area. Or maybe interested in putting something together? Playing bass around 10 years now. I'm not going to say I listened to a record and was moved to pick the instrument up because I wasn't. I was drunk in a quarry with my mates and we decided to form a band. I drew the short straw and got the bass! The only bassist I would really say has any "influence" on me would be John McVie. I like to keep things simple. I'm very much of the belief that the bass is a rhythm instrument and therefore is in the background holding everything together. I have no interest in a Les Claypool / Victor Wooten 10min style wanky solo.

    So, if anyone is interested, let me know and we'll take it from there?

    Edit: Oh yeah, people I listen to ; Fleetwood Mac, Rory Gallagher, Jimmy Hendrix, Oasis, Stone Roses, Miss Kittin, Richie Hawtin, DJ Shadow, Jurassic 5, Atmosphere.
