hey guys, i'v recently decided to do a little airsoft project and build my own gas blowback m16. but i haven't been able to find the actual gas blowback mech itself, just the little upgrade parts and i was hoping someone hear may have come across one while roaming the interweb.

    thanks

sorry your request is a little hard to understand. are you looking to build a gbb completely from the ground up ?

i believe it is possible to build a gnn from scratch with all the parts on the market but the easiest thing to do is choice a system ( WA or WE ) and buy yourself a base gbb to use as a base and add to this

What do you mean you can't find the "Gas blow back mech"? Do you mean the bolt and nozzle?

yep pud's right, get a base gun to start with, it'll work out a lot easier and cheaper just get one thats close to what you are aiming for as an end result. theres no limit to the configurations out there nowadays.

It's getting a base gun that's the problem if you want a WA system. The AGMs are gone from the clone crackdown (I'm sorry now I didn't get a few of them at the time of release but at least I have the one) and the high end WAs are mia.

The WE's are everywhere but they don't have as much aftermarket parts as the WA system yet but there is no fear of them vanishing off the market any time soon.

Right now to get a WA style GBBR you will have to buy all the parts and actually build the thing from scratch.

hey thanks for the info guys didn't know you can't get wa gbbr anymore. i think i'm deff going to get the we base now but it's a shame to hear there aren't as many after market parts for we.

You can still get WAs, they are just a bit scarce right now, I think everyone that likes more realism in their GBBRs snapped them up seeing as AGM are in a spot of bother. The AGM clones are gone till they get fixed up in China again.

The WE GBBRs do have a good amount of aftermarket parts, there was 100 odd on one site I checked recently,( but that was including the KAC PDW and SCAR parts,) just not the massive amount that the WA systems do right now.
