Tackling dust mites

I use a box room in my house to store various junk. The room is barely used - and my OH wants to turn it into a dressing room. She started to hoover yesterday and discovered that there are lots of creepy crawlies in the carpet - I'm guessing they are some kind of dust mite.

I was planning to put in new carpets\curtains anyway - but now I'm wondering if I need some kind of pest control. Will getting rid of the carpet\underlay\curtains suffice? I have a cleaner who goes over the rest of the house once a week.

    They may be carpet beetles

    Give Aggie a shout :D
    Post a pic?
A good steam clean will sort em.
I think you can hire carpet cleaner machines from B&Q etc.
Might save you buying and laying a new carpet!
    Good luck
