Can anyone recommend a series similar to Millennium? Have watched all 3 series twice. Just finished Fringe also & am at a loss finding something similar to watch.

    Ta:)

sciency meaning sci fi? or just involving science.

I personally like Fringe, V, Flashforward, Dollhouse, Stargate Universe, Doctor Who, Lie to Me, House, Big bang theory....

Life on Mars is good. Not overtly sci-fi, but very mysterious and weird.

Sciency meaning involving science-not like Doctor Who Stargate Universe etc, tried them but theyre not for me :(
LOVE House, maybe a bit too much....watched all series 4 times!!!
Lie to me is pretty good, Big Bang Theory is too cliched-im studying Physics in college and for the "layperson" I could see the amusement. I guess I like Millennium because I love Criminal Minds, so serial killers n science-not too specific!!!!

    Oooh whats Dollhouse?

    Oooh whats Dollhouse?

Hmm, Dollhouse was kind of a sci-fi show by Joss Whedon (maker of buffy,firefly..)
It was dropped after its second season but It got pretty good towards the end.
Ill try to explain it; the doll house is a secret underground business where people(known as actives/dolls) have their personalities and memories wiped so they can be imprinted with new personalities and skills and hired out to the extremely wealthy.

It was a kinda slow show to get started as it was episodic basically the same person in a new role on some mission every week. but toward the end it got pretty good with more action/conspiracy/technology going on...

The american version or the UK version?

UK version is the original, so I'd start with that. If you like that, then maybe have a look at Ashes to Ashes aswell.

And even though it's not science-y, I can't really recommend TV shows without mentioning The Wire. Just watch it!:pac:

Well the best science show there ever was or ever will be is Carl Sagans Cosmos, it's simply awesome you must watch it. It was made in 1980 and as a testament to Sagan it's still accurate today, 30 years of science later. Then there's Stephen Hawkings Into the Universe which is also very good and just aired on Discovery.

If you're looking for scifi a really good show was Defying Gravity, it's a nice dose of hard science fiction with a splash of mystery. It was cancelled after 1 season though, didn't deserve to be though :(
