Guys,

Have you seen barrys videos especially the short game pitch from roughs and fairways...his feets are close together. Has anybody try that kind of stance? wouldnt that cause problem with maintaining balance over the ball at impact???:rolleyes::rolleyes:

sergio garcia uses it all the time
i have almost perfected it and regularly use it
it is a real athletes shot - if the likes of lowry used it he'd fall over in midswing
need a real muscular frame to get through it
some might say it is a conservative approach shot but when you're dropping them in the hole from 20 yards on a regular basis i cant say i'm worried

Just had a look makes the ball position easy to setup.

Seems too easy must try it at the weekend.

mickelson is similar too, working off his dvd since Jan..great pointers even it is a bit cheesy in places...

Started pitching like that lately and seeing a huge improvement inside 100 yards.

Gave it a go yesterday evening hit some great shots from 10 - 30 yards in but some crap ones from 60 yards out.

Maybe i need to practice it more.
