There's currently a big fire in Santry, looking out my back window its like it is either in Northwood near the Crown Plaza or up by Little Venus. Anyone any info?

Being treated as suspected arson according to RTE website

Interestingly RTE said about this that 6 units from Tara St dealt -source - presumably Swords, Kilbarrack, Finglas, Phibsboro, North Strand would all be closer?

Could have been that most units (if not all) were out at another scene, and could not send enough to deal with, so HQ(Tara St.) was told to attend in full.

Yeah but it might also be RTE assuming they were from Tara Street and kinda forgetting the other stations ?

The Kilbarrack unit (D61?) was in attendance.

Kilbarrack's D61 was not in attendance at the original call to the fire, although it may have been there on relief the following morning to let the offgoing crew go home.

The original turnout was D/O Foxtrot Finglas
    D51 Finglas
    D31 Phibsboro
    D32 Phibsboro
    Water Tanker Phibsboro
    D41 North Strand
    D11 Donnybrook
    D106 Tara Street.

After 4 hours the fire was downgraded to one pump.
D42 from North Strand gave relief at 0230hrs, and D102 from Tara street relieved D42 at 0630hrs.

I think it's fair to assume the fire is out by now.
