Is there one? Will be in town on Fri night but staying in Enfield - is there a nightlink service on any type? Hoping to get a bus about 2am if possible

    Thanks

    No.

Closest would be 67N to Maynooth and taxi from there. dep at 00.00, 02.00, 04.00 Friday and Saturday nights from Westmoreland St.

Bus Eireann night rider service is long gone.

Last bus serving Enfield is 11 or 11.30 from Bus aras(sp) serving Maynooth, Kilcock and Enfield.

The Dublin Bus and taxi way works if you can afford it.

Note for the future, this service may be transferred from Dublin Bus to Bus Eireann and I don't think they do nightlinks.

Enfield is only serviced by Bus Eireann.

It is the Dublin Bus services on route 66 to/from Kilcock that are proposed to be withdrawn.

The Kilcock DB service doesnt make sense to me so Im sure that would be the first to get chucked if they wanted to do such a thing.

I think there is too much DB traffic in maynooth for them to let it go.

    Also,
I made a mistake in my last post.
No Bus Eireann takes a passenger from Dublin and lets them off in Maynooth, at least not according to regulations. They let people on in Maynooth.

I was given out to for asking to get off in Maynooth when my mam was behind the bus. I was given a right bollocking even though my ticket said Kinnegad on it haha.

There are no suggestions that Dublin Bus is withdrawing services to/from Maynooth.

It is just the extension to Kilcock that are proposed to be cancelled.

The full Bus Eireann timetable to/from Enfield is here:

    http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1266487949-115.pdf

    Last bus is 2300.

As others say - best bet is the Dublin Bus 67N to Maynooth and then a taxi.
