Hey Nocaster I would not mind trying to help you guys get up and running
Im no great singer but I can hold a tune, sung backing vocals in bands, but always playing our own songs so never had a chance to play my first love which has always been Blues.
Love your vids and your gear by the way
I've been watching your thread and kicking myself for not replying sooner
i can send you a couple of tracks of me jamming and singing but they are completly one offs, when I could I would try and hijack the warm up and get some blues into their lives. Anyway been singing alot on my own lately so i think I have improved
Like I say untill somone better comes along I would Love to help out and have some fun
Big Clapton/cream/dominoes fan , Rory is prob my fave at the mo his Intonation and musicality is jaw dropping and vocal wise it has to be Steve Marriot, Have a listen to this for a masterclass in Blues Rock

Well, like i say I'm not great but while your looking I'll gladly embarass myself for the cause. And if it helps you get up and running, no harm done and my ego wont be dented when I get replaced lol
But I have a serious love for Blues and music in general so Ill try my best and Im not a messer, I love the hard graft involved being in the studio.
I have not played with a band for 3 years apart from the odd session here and there.
Its a shame more people dont get to see a good rockin blues band, Im sure more people would convert overnight if they did.
Lets see what Nocaster thinks, he might want to try and get a great singer from the start, which is fair enough
    See ya soon maybe

Speaking just for myself, I'd say, having a love for singing the blues is more than half the battle. I think there is nothing to be lost by having a go. Besides, we will all be in the same boat insofar as we will all be playing together for the first time.

Also, it makes a pleasant change to see someone not boasting about how good they are. ;)

Lol there is no boasting involved cause I'd soon be found out:D

Im just itching to get back in the studio, I miss that stale smell of sweat and damp:eek:, I'll do spoons if need be

If we just picked one tune each before we went in it would give us 5 tunes to work on which would be more than enough for the first session, and we would have half an idea before we started

You are certainly not lacking in enthusiasm, that's for sure. :)
