So being a celebrity may get stressful sometimes, not much privacy, etc. BUT, you have to be some absolute dope to compare having your private life invaded, IMO by choice, to being raped.

I wonder how actual rape victims feel when some stupid bitch comes out and says that paparazzi taking photos "has left her feeling like a rape victim".

Everybody makes a comment that they regret every now and then, but have the luxury of not having it relayed around the world. Maybe she's just not the sharpest tool in the box.

The Twilight actress admits she struggles to cope with the constant attention from the paperazzi – and tells fans not to believe everything they read. She even reveals she has a stalker – probably a girl.

I for one really like her. She was great in Panic Room as a kid & then in Into The Wild.

Anyhoo, she clarified that she made a massive mistake in using that word, she meant to say "violated".

She played a girl who gets raped in a movie in 04 (can't remember what it's called) & has been an activist for women's crisis charities etc.

People need to get over this, it's not that offensive & very easy to see how she just used the wrong word.

I agree that she was silly to even mention the word "rape" in an interview.It was always going to lead to being misquoted.

She does seem to struggle with the whole celeb thing,it kind of pisses me off-she's been doing it since she was a kid,she had to know there'd be this kind of attention if she made it big.

Its tough if you have paparazzi following you 24/7 everywhere ,they have been know to shout at celebs to get a reaction.IT was an unfortunate phrase to use.Some celebs have cars following them around just to get a picture.Thats why some celebs move out of la, new york , to get some privacy.Shes not like some d list celeb who goes to a certain club hoping to get photographed, and even getting paid half for so called spontaneous
pics.
i like here ,shes sincere ,natural , so what if she doesn,t smile much.
Some of the best actors ,comedians are known to be shy in real life.

SHES young naive, shes an actress not a pr expert, nowadays if you are an actress you have to promote the films, its part of your contract.
Shes like ellen page, young ,honest not a super pr expert.
AT least shes not some dlist celeb begging paparazzi to take a photo.
you can be an actor without being an extrovert or a luvvie .Maybe IN REAL LIFE shes modest ,shy , when shes not being filmed.AT least when she smiles you know she means it.
