I was transporting some long planks of wood the other day and to facilitate them they were being put through teh boot and resting on dashboard.

The guy at the shop rather than waiting for me to rest them on the dashboard decided to push them forward essentially grazing the dashboard. (gosh*te). It's not a biggy but I was wondering if there is some method or product that I can use to make it look better? Its a toyota avensis 2002 :) Not shiny new but still its my car!

You'll probably find that the dirt and dust in the graze makes it look a lot worse than it is, give it a good clean with a little warm soapy water aand see how it looks, any amount of stuff out there on the market for dashs, Son of a Gun or one of those should do it.

Very hot water on a towel will pop out any dents on the plastic.
